Ph.D. and Postdoc Positions in the Field of Cryptography and Computer Security

Ph.D. Positions

Excellent Ph.D. candidates (preferably with proven research capabilities) are encouraged to apply.

Possible research topics: Design & analysis of symmetric-key primitives, Privacy of biometric databases/schemes, Computer security.

Applicants should be in possession of a research M.Sc. (i.e., with a thesis) with a final grade of more than 85%, in computer science (or of related field), and have prior knowledge of cryptography and/or computer security.

The proposed support is 6,000 to 7,500 NIS per month (about 1,600 to 2,000 US$ per month), depending on the candidate's marital status and capabilities. The grant shall also cover the tuition at the university.

Please note that the program is expected to take 4 years.






Post-doctoral Positions

Excellent researchers with Ph.D. are encouraged to apply.

Possible research topics: Design & analysis of symmetric-key primitives, Privacy of biometric databases/schemes.

Applicants should be in possession of Ph.D. in computer science (or of related field), and have proved research capabilities, with emphasis on cryptography, privacy, or computer security.

The proposed support is 7,500 to 8,500 NIS per month (about 2,000 to 2,300 US$ per month), depending on the candidate's marital status and capabilities.
